Audition Information
Auditions for the upcoming 2008-09 season for both the Pocono Youth Orchestra and the Pocono Junior String Orchestra will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Auditions last approximately 10 minutes, and they take place at Stroudsburg Jr. High School. Auditions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be notified with your exact audition time once your application is reviewed.
All students through present juniors in high school are eligible to apply. Students will be asked to perform a prepared solo piece of their choice and to sight-read appropriate music for their instrument.
The tuition for the 2008-09 Pocono Youth Orchestra or the Pocono Junior String Orchestra is $125 ($75 for each additional family member who successfully auditions).
